The surfaces must be solid, clean, dry and free from grease and oil. The tape must be tensioned in order to ensure optimal binding and to enable it to be wrapped in at least two layers with a 50 % overlap. Less tension should be applied to the final layer to prevent the layers effectively from becoming one.
For insulating, marking electrical cables, fastening cable harnesses, manufacturing cable harnesses, protecting low- and medium- to high-voltage cable splices etc. Conforms to European Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 of the Commission (RoHS 3), as well as EU Directive 200/53 (free from lead, chromium(VI), mercury and cadmium).
