The serrated side of the washer must point in the direction of the nut thread. Clamp washers must not be reused once the bolt has been removed.

Assembly:
- 1. Create the bore hole (bore hole diameter = nominal diameter of washer + max. 1 mm) or the oblong hole
- 2. Push bolt through the bore hole
- 3. Slide the clamp washer over the thread
