Water-repellent, yet permeable to water vapour

Thanks to impregnation, the tape is resistant to driving rain, but still allows for good drying out of moisture in joint on account of its vapour permeability.

Notice

The expansion speed of VKP MAX depends on the temperature. In high temperatures, store the tape in a cool location; in low temperatures, store in a warm location. Compatibility when coating with paints and sealants must be tested. The tape must not come into contact or be cleaned with chemicals containing solvents or aggressive chemicals.

To ensure functionality and to prevent the penetration of moisture, the sealing tape must not expand further than the maximum specified joint width during and after installation.

Application area

For indoor and outdoor joints with larger joint tolerances, e.g.: light metalworking, window construction, wood house and log cabin construction, prefabricated house construction
