- Always seal and adhere EPS special system profiles using the associated VWM assembly adhesive (art. 0479 743 200) to the substrate and to each other.
- The VWM assembly adhesive must be ordered separately.
- When mounting, follow Special Case 1 in accordance with the RAL guidelines for mounting. If there are any special requirements, it may be necessary to consider Special Case 2.
- It is important to check that installation has been performed correctly for the specific construction conditions (e.g. weight of window casement, surface properties). When planning and selecting suitable fasteners, their properties (e.g. application surface, edge spacings, loads) need to be taken into account.
- To attach fall-proof glazing in accordance with DIN 18008-4, additional suitable and approved securing systems such as the W-ABZ window installation rail (art. no. 0479 740 XXX) must be used. Alternatively, approval is required for each individual case.

The Würth VWM pre-wall mounting system EPS consists of
- Special system profiles made from high-density EPS
- VWM assembly adhesive
The system is suitable for mounting window elements, window, balcony and terrace doors on load-bearing surfaces such as concrete and sand-lime brick, in front of the wall in the insulation layer of the ETICS, even with two-shell construction and brick facings.
The special system profiles made from high-density EPS are bonded to the supporting wall with VWM assembly adhesive around the full circumference of the window/door opening, sealed and also mechanically fastened with a suitable dowel system (e.g. W-BS concrete screw or W-UR 10 frame anchor). The special system profiles are precisely cut with a conventional saw (chop saw, circular saw, jigsaw, hand saw). The dovetail connections allow special system profiles to be joined easily. Offcuts up to 400 mm can be further utilised.
- Ensure adhesion surfaces are dry, suitably load bearing, clean, free of dust, grease and ice during application.
- Special system profiles can be connected to the dovetail connection for easier alignment. Always bond joints.
- The window elements are set in the mounting frame, aligned and mechanically fastened using a spacing assembly screw (e.g. AMO® III).
- The window connection joint is optimally sealed on the surface of the special system profile
- Finally, the mounting bracket can be covered by the subsequent ETICS.
