Turnbuckles compliant with DIN 1478 must be assembled with welding ends compliant with DIN 34828 of the same material (S235JR). In this case, the load capacity of the turnbuckles is always greater than that of the welding ends. When assembled with connecting parts made of other materials, especially materials with increased tensile strength, the load capacity of the turnbuckles must be checked separately.
