R744 is environmentally friendly, has zero ODP (ozone depletion potential) and minimal GWP (Global Warming Potential).
It also has excellent thermodynamic properties and low energy consumption, making it suitable for a variety of applications, such as industrial heat extraction, refrigerated storage, cargo ships, commercial refrigeration and mobile air conditioning. A major difference between R744 and other refrigerants is its pressure/temperature characteristic: due to its high pressure and low critical temperature, refrigeration systems require special equipment designs
