In principle, the wood should be dried before processing to a humidity that is close to the equilibrium of its later environment. Smooth surfaces such as metals and PVC should be sanded. A cleaned foam/glue gun should not be stored individually. To maintain the functionality, a foam can (even if empty) should be fastened to it during storage. The bonding should be protected from direct weather exposure (e.g. by a canopy)
Datasheets(X)
For structural gluing of stairs and for use in window and door production. Bonding of MDF boards and metal, wood, rubber, expandable polystyrene, extruded polystyrene, plastic, concrete, bricks, aerated concrete.
The substrate must be clean, dry and free from grease and oil. Shake the can approx. 20 times before use in order to achieve adequate mixing. Screw the can to the gun head first and discharge foam. Once discharged, the foam settles until a thin layer of adhesive is produced. The parts to be bonded can then be affixed. Moisture accelerates the curing process.
